Kevin and Jay are both North East Natives from New York and Connecticut. Kevin and Jason met while working in the Myrtle Beach roofing industry and quickly bonded over their shared morals, values, and down-to-earth lifestyles. After years of witnessing a profit-over-people mindset dominate the industry, they knew it was time for something different. MEET KEVIN
Kevin, the proud owner of our roofing company, brings over two decades of hands-on experience to every project. A native of the Hudson Valley, NY, Kevin was introduced to roofing at a young age, working alongside his father, who ran a GAF Master Elite certified crew. This generational knowledge laid the foundation for Kevin’s deep understanding of the roofing process—from the first shingle to the final inspection. Unlike many company owners who’ve never been on the roof themselves, Kevin’s journey began as an installer, giving him a unique, start-to-finish perspective that truly sets us apart.
Outside of work, Kevin is a devoted husband of 11 years and a proud father to three children—a 10-year-old son and 1-year-old twins. When he’s not leading roofing projects, you can find him spending quality time with family and friends, golfing, or enjoying the great outdoors.

Jason, co-owner of Horizon Roofing, brings a unique and passionate approach to the roofing industry. Born and raised in Wallingford, CT, Jason made Myrtle Beach his home seven years ago and has been dedicated to helping homeowners with their roofing needs ever since. Originally starting his career in education, Jason made the leap into roofing during the COVID-19 pandemic—and never looked back.
Since then, he’s become a specialist in roofing insurance claims, working closely with homeowners to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Jason knows that dealing with a roof replacement or repair can feel overwhelming, especially when insurance is involved. That’s why he takes the time to guide each client step-by-step, offering clear communication, honest answers, and reliable support from start to finish.
When he’s not on a roof or helping clients, Jason enjoys spending time with his 10-year-old daughter, attending her dance competitions, traveling, working out, enjoying good food, and being near the water—whether it’s the beach, a lake, or anything outdoors.
